Who we are
An umpire association built on training, accountability and taking care of our crews.
DRAFT — Black & Blue Umpires is an umpire association serving amateur baseball through three divisions: Travel Umpires, Collegiate Umpires and Umpire Camps. Our umpires wear the black and powder blue and hold themselves to one standard, whether the game is 10U pool play or a conference series.
We recruit umpires, train them, assign them and keep developing them. Collegiate staff meet monthly for training calls, review game video, and get post-game strike zone reports built from Trackman data. Travel crews get the same focus on mechanics, positioning and game management.
What sets us apart
- Ongoing training, not a one-time clinic
- Data-backed feedback for plate umpires
- Coordinators who know their umpires and their events
- Camps that build the next crew
